Hello and welcome.
Welding machine choices vary out there from place to place....
Flea market is a good choice, often I see a few there...... An alternative to that is a fluxcore welder from the princess..... even canadian tire has a few kits cheap.....

I've got this welder: Lumik 160Amp DC iGBT Inverter Welder
for $90 it does a really good job, its got a 45% duty cycle at 160 amps but I never run it that high so I don't need to worry about that. it is really lightweight also.
