I'm -as you surely know- the one that screams and rages when someone -likely you tbh- suggests using a washing machine motor to actually move a go kart.
So this pic helps me making my point (one third HP!)
Anyways, without a power cord it'd be hard to make good use of it, so an appliance in or on any moving vehicle isn't exactly a good idea
(batteries, a DC/AC converter and you spend enough weight and money to get a more powerfull DC motor running)
So yeah.. home appliance...
do you have kids around?... some small dia copper tubing, soldering iron and a round tin candy box? maybe even a camping stove? how about a big plastic salad bowl?
Well then, how about a cotton candy machine?
Mount the motor shaft up, bend (and solder) a burner from the copper tube as big as the tin candy box...
drill a hole in the bottom part to fit the shaft, and poke lots of tiny little holes all around the sidewall.
make a large enough hole in the salad bowl to fit over the motor, and fix it in a way that it's top edge is 2" above the candy box to catch the cotton candy.
put some sugar in the candy box, close the lid, fire up the burner and start the w/m motor..
