hey s&s regular cameras have a problem being able to adjust to "flashing" they tend to pick up more of the light other then the actual welding itself. but I have seen people use a double lens to supress the flash. so if you went and got another dark lens and placed it in to a helmet ( so 2 lenses overlaping ) then place the helmet about 8 -10 inches away from the thing your welding you should be able to get some good results for show.

looks close enough to what i see, except my welding is done during the day. so i get the mirror effect until i strike an arc.
