What engine is this?! And how do I wire up spark.

Hi everyone,
I recently purchased this gokart and I am unable to find any identification on the engine. It is 240cc as shown in the photo. Any help identifying it would be much appreciated. As well, the wiring is all messed up and I’m not sure how things are supposed to go. Coming off the stator are three yellow wires, a blue wire, and a green wire.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It appears to be a generator unit, possibly from the Titanic? The abundance of rust and the open hose things do not bode well for restoration.
Does it turn over? Other than that I have no idea either.

How mechanically inclined are you? Do you poses the skills to remove that engine and install an industrial style engine. That would require a different style of motor mount which will take some fabrication. My reasoning is because as stated by Master Hack in post # 4, not only do you have an absolute ( possibly unsolvable ) rats nest of wiring, from the looks of the engine exterior, and the open ports, it's highly unlikely that there is much worth saving. We have seen some rough examples of ignored karts. Yours might be the worst. I would try to save the kart and throw the engine away.

We’re not trying to be jerks or discourage you. But that engine looks like it is missing some expensive and possibly hard to find parts. Can you weld and fabricate? What brand of kart is it? What does it look like?

3 yellow are charging coils, blue green probably cdi ignition. Looks to be a bit of a lost cause, previous posts have highlighted important costly missing components.
