well i might go ahead and buy that 110 my neighbor has if it welds that good and gets that much penetration.

well i tested my welder on 1/4" i had wfs set to 4 instead of the usual 9 (out of 12), and i did get penetration, no beveled edges, and moving extremely slow but i had a good 1" of heat signature on each side of the weld (yes i know it could be better but this welder is only rated for 1/8") then i took it to the vise clamp, hit it with a steel headed mallet (full swing) and left huge dents in the metal and got some good sparks, after about 50 hits we had bent the mtal 90 degrease one way then 180 degrees back the other way then another 90 back to vertical and it had just bent the metal! if you plan on using a welder on thicker metal than its rated for please test it yourself before trusting it!
