wayyy bigger carb on a 49cc pocket bike

ok so i got a pocket bike that just needs a a new carb and i got a old honda gx240 so i thought why not put the honda carb on my pocket bike so i made my custom adapter and i just need to buy gass nd test it imma also post pics and maybe a video. so i was wondering will this give me better performance or not because it kinda looks like the carb might be too big for this little engine so post your thoughts

Expect it to run very lean.
Could be compared to drinking a slurpee with a 8" sewer pipe.
It just might idle...but that's all.

oh okay. i thought that because i would think a gx240 takes in alot more gas than a 49cc.

but your right it will get more air as well....

what about if i restrict the amount of air that gets in with the chock ?

It all comes down venturi size.
CFM on a 49cc engine is just too light to use a 240cc carburetor.
