All I did was take the spark plug out, turn the flywheel so the piston is all the way down, then I stuck some 1/2" rope down through the spark plug hole as far as it would go, then I turned the nut on the flywheel, and it came right off!
I should be getting money soon (Selling my homemade luges.), and if I do, I'll be working on the go kart.

Update:

I got a large gas tank from a lawn tractor at the dump this week, and I welded a mounting plate to the rear of the kart for it. Then I sprayed a light coat of rust preventing spray "paint" on the frame. Not really a paint, but it's something to keep the rust off. I also "mounted" some odd looking lights that I got off of my lawn tractor to the front of the frame. They look pretty weird, but they should work.
I can't find the camera right now, but when I find it, I'll post pictures.
