so i got a 3/8 to 1/4" socket adapter that i could pick up at any auto parts store for my project. Ordered it from ebay just because it was convenient. I checked into it and its like supposed to be delivered 2-3 days from when it was sent. That was a week and a half ago.
Its now the 27th, and I did a little more digging. It has been just chilling at the USPS Dallas Destination Facility since the 20th, and according to the online system it will be delivered on the 22nd... yeah thats some excellent math.
I decided to call the local destination facility's number during normal business hours to see if they could nudge it along. Nothing, nobody would answer, no message or anything, just a call back later message...
On to the automated online help, which is of no help it only tells me what i already knew, that it is at the facility since the 20th.... ok lets do the customer service line.
Your wait should be 25 minutes. Whellllp.... #@!$@#$^$# ok lets just be a hold and type up some reports. Man even their hold music blows....
Meanwhile, i email their customer service, wow maybe i wont have to be on hold ill just fill out this form and be done with it? Yeah maybe ill stay on hold and fill it out.... soooo I fill out all the forms, and i get this awesome message when I hit send (from their website). They are now saying that their website is unavalable.... looks like nobody is accountable at the USPS. What a joke. No company would be allowed to have such a horrendous sheeyitstorm of fukuppery.
rant over.
Just wanted to give a quick update its been 50 minutes on hold. from the estimated time of 25... anybody want to guess how long it is going to be before I get to talk to a real live person?
Update: it only took 1 hour and 15 minutes to talk to a person. They will have someone investigate and call me back within 72 hours. Splendid. I think im going to go to autozone and pick one up.
