EOI: Tyre Changer/Bead Breaker

I just finished making this. If you guys are interested, I'll put up a build log.

Total cost of materials was around $20. There's about 2 - 3 hours of fairly simple fab work involved &, this time, I can even demo how to use it :D

yea id like to make it. dont want to buy one. sometimes i get some scrap wheels that still hold air and instead of cutting the rubber just use one of these and scrap the rubber and the rim. still have to find a place for the rubber tho

Yep- do it. I've been meaning to toss one-a these things together myself. What you've done is pretty much what I had in my head, I wouldn't mind comparing notes.

Cool man, nothing like fabing up your own tools. Gotta love it, i make most of my tools if possible and cost effective.

I've lost count of how many home made tools I have. As a panelbeater, you tend to make tools to suit the job :D

Ok, that'll do it. I've started a build thread to reduce any confusion. You can follow it here
