I came across this picture of this Kart.
Does anyone know anything about it or its history?

I know nothing about it, other than the operator clearly will need hearing protection with those four screaming engines. I'd sure like a better look at the driveline!

Thats pretty cool. Wonder how fast it does in a 1/8-1/4 mile.....

Was just rebuilt and the guy lives in the central valley. If he can run it at Eagle Field, I'm sure he'd love to have the opportunity. I can talk to him. One of a kind dragster built by Kendick Engineering in 1967. Has 4 McCulloch (yes, the same company that built the superchargers) Mc101 125cc engines on alky. Thats 500ccs and a total of 60 HP on a 200 lb. kart. It ran low 11 second ETs in '68 and then was retired and went missing. The picture on the cover of the magazine was taken at San Fernando.

the video is set to private unfortunately, couldn't trace it down yet...

I think we either need to start a new thread or maybe a whole new category based on the old "stump the band" premise. We should call it "stump 'Sid".And he is translating this from Germany.

The man never ceases to amaze me.

I would have to agree he is on top of it. He is a handy guy to have around!
Thanks again Sid.

Thank you guys, you're too kind,
that thing just sticked to my mind (shocking surprise, huh?) as I first stumbled upon it.
And knowing the name it's not too hard to find the little info there is on the net.

And as long as there's no "stomp 'sid" thread I'm fine ;)

I think I would be concerned about one of those engines letting go most certainly the second one back from the front!

Im thinking it has a drive shaft and a posi "pumpkin" on the axle. This might be a future build. I have 4 B&S 3.5's in my storage just sittin that could be modded a little and use the drive line from a small quad like my 90cc Yamaha raptor as it has a drive shaft and posi rear end..... hhhmmmmm:D
And yeah 'sid, u da man who hops in with info on stuff like that! You always seem to know where to find the hard to find..... You're a great resource for info! Thank YOU

You're very welcome Jim,

I guess we can say I'm good in google-foo ;)
I still don't have the video though... that drives me crazy, I want to hear the monster.
