Well, after hi-jacking Simon's thread, I was inspired to put up what I have done on my Tug Boat build. I don't have up to date pictures, but with any luck I will get some in a few days.

That is up in the air right now. I have both a 5 and 10 HP outboard, an electric trolling motor, and I have even considered putting in a centerboard keel and making it a sailboat.

And as I was talking to Simon, I have this demented desire to put a clone engine into it as an inboard.

That's why I was asking! An outboard is a no-brainer. But hang out in a community like this long enough, and you do get demented desires like that! Here's another one-

I think a 10HP Yanmar Diesel would sink it.

It's already going to be heavy due to the framing I put into it, and the heavy weave fiberglass cloth I used. The lake I plan to use it on is very rocky, so I wanted a sturdy bottom.

When I complete it, it should look something along the lines of this.

If you want to see some really cool versions of it, they have a large number of customer builds. The plans cost I think $56.

I have maybe $200 into it total so far, not counting the engine.

I wouldnt mind building some sort of boat...if we ever get a garage built.

Well, I didn't go with a cabin, and the seats and sides aren't exactly finished, but it does float, and I built a cool trailer that I can tow behind a lawn tractor to launch it.
