trading lifan for paintball gun worth it?

so i got an offer on my lifan 125cc. the dude wants to trade me a tippmann a5 paintball gun with maso. i dont know what a maso is but i read reviews about the gun and its a pretty good gun. guy says its number 2 on the market.

so do any paintballers on here this its worth it? or anyone think its worth it? had no other offers besides this one

well ive played a bit of paintball myself. so before you trade make sure the gun will fire right. dont just fire it once or twice. i mean cycle it alot. he meant mask. and is he giving you a tank and the hopper?

Also its worth looking around to make sure you can even re-charge and use the gun and tank. some places dont re-charge them. and the places that do are a bit pricey. And that you can get paintballs.

he said i need to buy new tank and some balls. i take his word that it works. im going to try and stay in contact with him so i can see my engine actually running. the hopper comes attached to the gun

You should see if he has a tank or see if you can barrow one from someone. Get some paintballs or see if he can. Make sure it shoots good. If it's electric make sure he hasn't had any problems with the board. Good luck!

I wouldn't worry too much about it not working. Paintball guns aren't exactly complex. I haven't touched mine in years and could still pull it apart in my sleep.

Exactly. Worst case scenario, you'll need to replace some o-rings or a ball detent. Both of those are consumable parts anyway.

haha thanks for your help. im also talking to him and see if i can get his junk dirtbike engine to scrap. thats why he wants my lifan. his engine is old and junky and got a bad crank case
