Hi everyone. My name’s Mike. I’m currently a pilot and aircraft mechanic in Papua New Guinea where I fly into bush airstrips to support Bible Translation and community development. I used to be an HVAC Technician in Southern California and have always enjoyed hot rods and racing. I’ve owned a ‘56 F100 and a ‘64 Chevy C-10. Go karts may be more fun because the cost is so much less. When I was a kid, I always wanted to build a go kart, but never had the skills or opportunity. During our last time in the US, we decided to gather up some parts and get a set of plans and I’m just about done with my first build. My girls are totally stoked!
Here’s a link to a video of some flying I’ve done. I’m definitely no video editor, but the scenery is beautiful and gives an idea of what I do.

Also, here’s a few pics of the kart coming together. Thanks for having me!
