The race scenes in all of the fast and furious movies. No only do they shift 18,000 times, but a 1/4 mile race takes like 3 minutes in the movie! The cars also look like the millennium falcon when they press the N2O button, as if a little nitrous oxide stretches space and time.

That's 200 shot of nawzz bro.

It doesn't stretch space and time, but if you're running along at full tilt WOT, and your engine suddenly becomes 200hp more powerful, it'll put you back in your seat.

I like the fact that in movies nitrous is seen to shoot flames out the exhaust (more common in games though). Or you can safely run no air filter on a engine (naturally aspirated, or blown) in a dusty environment without risking engine damage (Fury Road for reference).

And yeah, never run without an air filter, don't smoke.,don't drink, and avoid red meat as much as possible.

Seriously, though, yes, no air filter =engine not long for this world.

But, that's kinda nor a Hollywood myth,as idiots do it all day long.

Yeah, back to reality. There are naturally aspirated, supercharged, turbocharged, and nitrous cars.

They are all tuned to their applications. In real life, these street racers are running around 1000 hp.

Sooo....as Anikdote said these 1/4 mile races take 3 mins. Real life? 9 seconds.
