Stock predator air filter

I need a good air filter for my Predator 212. This is for my Daughters kart, bone stock, governed. I don't really want or need the high performance fabric air cleaner and adaptor kit. We live in dry dusty California. and the Kart has killed the grass and weeds so we have very very dusty conditions.
The kart kept stalling last week and I found the entire plastic intake coated in a layer of fine oily dust, Now I have to clean the carb. I want a good quality air filter that will seal and fit the stock airbox.

Chancer, you want a good aftermarket air filter. One that gets an oil bath..... That's what catches all the fine dust. You can make your own filter adapter on the quick and cheap, just go to Home Depot. Buy a pvc cap around the 2" range. You can keep from having to do a rejet by starting with a small hole in the cap, like maybe 1/2" or 9/16"..... Then run it, read plug, adjust hole a little, then repeat till you get a good plug reading.

FMJ can you elaborate on that a little more? I don't see anything on the stock plastic filter box where a 2" cap will attach to.

I've actually got one I took off a brand new motor after installing a hp filter, if you're still looking.

Thank you for the offer. I decided to just get an adaptor and K&N style filter.
