2018 Build-Off Contestant
This will hopefully be a build for later this summer/fall if I can get other projects done.
So I’d like to mount a motor into a StingRay bicycle, I have a 50cc manual trans motor from a dump pick. I know it needs a new coil($10), cdi box($10), and a carb($15-20). I’m not sure if the engine is good. It had a carb on it and it looked like someone welded some re-bar to lengthen the front suspension.
If possible I’d like to get maybe a 110cc. I’m not sure whether I should just fix this one or buy a used 110cc.
Since it’d be a motoped/moped the max speed can only reach 35mph by law here.
It’d only go maybe farthest distance of 2mi, but be mostly used to go to the bus stop 1/2mi away. It’s most of all for looking BA in this small town.
