spindles for go kart (school project)

hello im doing a project in school where im building a go kart with my friends. Im just wondering where i can find cheap spindles/spindle kit, i have looked around amazon and other places but they all seem way out of my budget (around 100euro for the whole cart motor excluded). are there any European or preferably swedish stores where i can find cheap spindles without having to pay 20 euros shipping to sweden? or are there any homemade solutions that are easy to do with limited tools?

We are pretty inexperienced in the field but any help would be apprieciated

Find a junk riding mower and use the spindles from that

What fabrication capabilities do you have?
Its not too difficult to make that stuff. Real cheapskates can make that stuff out of scrap driveshafts and some bolts. (Welding required)(your results may vary)

If he has access to the kinds of tools my school does then he probably has some stuff to work with. I can use a cnc plasma table, a drill press, a band saw, and a bunch of hand tools.
