Take a tecumseh 3hp engine block and a Tecumseh 5hp engine block to another part of the earth and ask them to cut it out of billet would probably cost less then one American $100 bill… Whatever that would equal out to in there currency. The valves are too shrouded, too small and 2 too many. It has been proven that any more than 4 valves per cylinder hurts flow.
That is so cool! When I was a kid I could run mine for hours without getting bored. The school by my house even had a gas powered car club. These are so cool.
Only 8 HP out of that thing? Pretty... but c'mon - where's the power?Let me help ya out....
Egad I loathe video shorts and the vertical video format they do it in. We are in the widescreen era (and we even see in widescreen) but these neanderthals are taking us backward....![]()
It's all in the video: a multi-million of dollar casting foundry and machining facility were used to make a custom big bore cylinder and stroker crank. The "tripling" part is plausible to me since the engine only made 16-17hp originally and didn't really have expansion chambers. But still, when you make a power claim like that and have the resources that guy does, it's lame IMO not to have before and after dyno data to back it up.Okay, so how did he triple the two-stroke power? It’s one of those annoying wordless video montages.
