It looks like a good deal, and you could put slightly larger tyres on it. Emphasis on slightly. You might need to change the gear ratio if the tyres cause a acceleration problem.

That kart is also quite small, so just make sure that your daughter can fit in it. Also make sure that it is just the battery that is the problem, and not some other electrical problem

I was planning on covering a had one to electric, but this seems like a great deal... The controller and motor are easily with more then 125....

score... looks like I found an offroad tires that works just fine...
put it on the cart and have about 1/4" clearance to the plastics

also got the paint job done

question, does anyone know where I can find a smaller #25 sprocket for this thing to compensate for the tires?
its a double D 11 tooth on an My1020 motor... cant seem to find anything smaller... a 9 tooth would be perfect

Now does about 15mph which is pretty scary for a 6ft guy in that thing....
One issue I need to fix is the steering setup.... its like a real race car...
The steering wheel only turns 30deg at the most... makes high speed turning dangerous....
Need to get it more like a normal mart... a good 60deg or so in each direction would be good...

You could shorten up the pitman arm and lengthen the steering arms, but in that pic, the pitman doesn't even look that long as it is... you could probably still go a little shorter though.

Like Oxy said would work... and that steering arm 'does' look awfully short to me aswell. Try 'just' lengthening the arms at the wheels(maybe1/2-3/4 inch), and 'ensure' that they point to the same center point on your axle(center of rear axle). Thatll ensure proper Ackermann as you 'finagle' around w/ the steering.
