I bought a mini bike with a predator 212cc, the motor was running fine until after 15 minutes of riding it would sputter out at full throttle and then not start back up for 5-10 minutes. I installed a new spark plug did not change anything. So I bought a brand new carburetor and installed that last night. Engine starts and idles fine but losses power and just sputters once I open the throttle half way or all the way, any tips moving forward?

I'd start with checking to see if the plug looks fuel fouled.
Then I'd check the coil air gap, as ell as pull off all the shielding to check for wet spots (obvious leaks) and then the torque on everything top end (head studs, exhaust, intake)

My Husqvarna 208 got finicky like that when the header came loose and again when it cracked.

Coils can and do go bad but it's actually fairly rare, and It's a little more common to have issues with the cap itself. On the plus side they're cheap enough that it's better to get one and end up setting it aside as a spare than continue beating your head on a wall.
