I used Lotto Pro 2012 for my numbers and had my parents get the tickets. Actually was pretty close.

Pretty close is just as useless as off by a mile

Frugality 101:

Spend $2 a week on lotto tickets? Nope. That's $104 a year. Put $2 a week in savings, instead. Or, even better, invest that money and earn dividends.

Hear about the 66 year old that used the software to guess numbers in 1995 and got the correct numbers, but didn't enter the lottery. Out of a ton of money. He filed for bankrupcy a few years later.

He just recently got 31 million using the software.

I heard about a guy who supposedly broke the equation for the scratchers. Apparently we could have one a bunch of money, but decided to tell the lotto people about it instead.
