was wondering, what power you can expect from a built 5 horse flatty
lets say

light porting (polishing to match)
billet rod
billet flywheel
CDI
header
0.10" over new style piston (of course chrome gets ya home)
20 pound valve springs with newer style retainers
mild cam
copper head gasket 0.26"
copper intake-exhaust gasket
TEC carb with intake
looking to make 5500-6000 rpms

Not a lot.. And I’m not even kidding the only thing they do is rev high and not break. If your just hot stocking don’t expect to build anything that would compete with an ohv mild built pred.. If they compared even the least briggs would still be in business..4D85FD4F-B4DB-4A68-AE8A-9C38CA6E8D9E.png7F7B9E9A-2978-4206-92D2-2E2C4FB71C2C.jpeg5E13E79C-ABD0-40CE-BCFE-68656E1D4F52.jpeg705848FE-81CC-4C31-82DC-F547CECCFFF9.jpeg
