Hi all,
New guy here from NJ. I built and have been testing PlyFly#14 and so far, it's a blast. I read a post about how some of you felt about a wooden kart and let me tell you, it's like riding a wooden roller coaster. It's rigid, but it does flex some which makes for a really fun riding experience. I opted for the 4HP model and so far I have gotten to 31.6MPH. More tinkering to come with the Lifan but I'm open to any engine mods you may have for me.
I can not wait to get her out on the track (we have a nice dirt track not too far away) and so far testing has been up and down my street. I am flagged down by everyone asking me more about it.
Pictures are coming of the build and where I am now. I plan to seal most of the wood (parts are already done) and I will be undercoating with bedliner if the temps here will ever drop below 90!
Josh
