Plans for building a Lawn Mower that looks like a jeep

HI,

My husband is trying to take a Lowes MTD Lawnmower and turn it into a mini Jeep. He want's to make the body out of lumber. Great carpenter but would like to look at drawings while he is building it. He doesn't know I am looking for plans, just thought I could help him. Can get very frustrated at times. We just purchased welding tools so he can learn how to weld.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I cannot think of any jeep plans offhand. There have been a few jeep builds on the forum, so maybe you can get some ideas from them. Have a look at these:

Introduce your Husband to the forum. Start a "build thread" and you guys can share your project with all of us and ask questions, get opinions, and help as you go along. This sounds like a fun cool project.
Or you could just hang out here, learn all kinds of stuff and blow him away with your wisdom and ideas.
