Picture Album?

Is this not available like other forums have?

I have a bunch of pictures Id like to post but its mainly nonsense-work in progress-random stuff related to my kart that doesnt warrant its own thread.

Interesting. There's a Media section on our sister site, OMB. It could be added here since it's also a XenForo site. What sites have a Picture Album that you are referring to? Otherwise, just start your own thread in Photo Gallery/Project Log would be my suggestion and batch-load some photos.

Feel free to private message twilliams11 and see what can be done here at DIYGK. I think it would be fantastic.

I am.. That car has been gone over 10 years now. Just have a couple silver ones, 05 and 07.

I really think we need a media section or photo gallery. We need one desperately for the "what did I just buy?" folks and we could organize by brand names. Then it could be more general, current projects, personal folders, etc. Otherwise everything is spread out in different threads.

I love them Monte Carlos...too

My first car was a 1978 Monte Carlo (Mint Green w/White Vinyl rear 1/2 top)
...w/ a 305 cu in engine
...switched out to a 350, outta 1975 Monte Carlo

My second car was a 1973 Monte Carlo (White)
...w/ a 350 in it
...& had a "smog pump" on it?

My third car was a 1972 Monte Carlo (Triple Black)
...350 engine & 400 Hydro-matic trans
...with bucket seats & a floor shifter

Sold my (1972) last Monte Carlo in 1991
...to help with tow truck payments
...but, "I must say" them was some Bad Azz" cars

Guess you could say I went through a few Monte Carlos too. About 11 of em so far, 73-77.

Still think we need a Photo Gallery. It would help immensely for the What Is It? crowd. A place to put all the brands, brochures and stuff.

That’s actually a subforum, not a thread, but I knew what you meant. Not a bad idea but in comparison, I don’t think we have the clientele to make a “what is it?” subforum viable like it is on the OMB forum. What we do have in abundance is a small crowd that doesn’t know but usually answers the question with “it’s just a generic go kart, it doesn’t matter, why do you care?”

Yeah, it would be nice for something in the first sub forums, especially with so many new members it seems as of late. Not sure how hard is to do, or who even does it. Back to my beer.......................
