PayPal WTF

Iv had a PayPal account for some time
Built the most part of a buggy with the stuff I purchased with it

But it is now asking me to prove my identity and won't let me add funds till I do

Iv done all the info I have to but it won't work
How much more optional info must I add?
Has anyone else had similar issues?
I don't have a passport or medicare card

It's a real issue as its holding me up on the build, its the only way I can buy parts over the net

You don't have a medicare card? I thought everyone in Australia had one...

I don't use paypal at all. I usually use bank deposit (mainly for ebay) or a debit card (works the same as a credit card but uses funds in your account.

The only time I've ever had a problem had nothing to do with anything online, the problem originated at Woolies.

You probably know this already, but make dam sure your at the real paypal.com website.
There's other sites with similar addresses that are frauds to get your password and info.

That's why I'm asking if anyone else has similar issues

And that's also why I'm not willing to type my debit card number straight into eBay
