Should be in the shop...
Hi,
As some of you may know, I thought I had scored a £300 phone for £150. Turns out I should have been a bit suspect.
The seller was meant to have posted by next day delivery, but they 'posted' second class on the 29th february. Meant to take 2-3 working days. today is day 4, and if it is delivered successfully tommorrow, it would be 5 days.
However, the seller is not responding to texts, and when called, I get an incorrect number type message. Here is what I said:
Hi, I paid for this HTC sensation XL mobile phone on the 28th of February, requesting Royal Mail next day delivery, which arrives the following day and has up to £500 compensation for loss or damage. I paid extra for this service. You then claim to post on the 29th February, at 11am, you sent me a text saying, "I posted this morning 11am I'm at work at the mo text you late cheers" at 19:51 on the 29th February. The next day, the item did not arrive, so I questioned it. I sent you, 'Hi it didnt come today, did you post special delivery? Thanks' You replied with, '2nd class parcels. It's all I could afford'. I had specifically asked for Special delivery because 2nd class does not cover the value of the phone, and I wanted the phone last weekend. However, since you had already sent the phone, I did not argue, and figured I would wait for the phone. Today is the fourth day after you claimed to have posted the phone. I sent a text on the 03/03/2012 at 15:05, saying, 'Hi, the phone didnt come today, i guess royal mail are being slow. Do you have any proof of postage?' After this, I have sent 3 more texts of similar nature, and I have had no reply. Royal mail 2nd class takes 2-3 working days, it has been 4 days of no delivery, and you have been unable to provide any proof of postage. I then attemped to ring you this evening, and all I got was a prerecorded message saying 'The number you have dialed is not recognised,' indicating that you have canceled your sim card. I would like a full refund, or if you are a genuine seller, proof of posting, Thanks Rob
Should I win my case?
I really hope so, otherwise its £150 down the drain. So pissed off right now! I hate people like this, trying to rip off 15 year olds with little money
ARGH!
Thanks
