Parts for Electric Go Kart

Hello Everyone, I just bought a Birel frame and would like to make it electrical. I got a 40mm axle and missing the sprocket for it and would like to get cassettes and bearing to mount the axle. Where is a good spot to buy the sprocket and the other components and what sprocket you guys recommend? The motor that I would like to use is Currie Tech 900w @ 24v Click which comes with 11T on the shaft. I don't know anything about gear ratios or anything like that.

1- Where to buy sprocket?
2- What sprocket should I get, teeth, size, and etc.?
3- Where to buy cassettes and bearing for 40mm axle?

I have had success in the past with just buying an old electric scooter, which people nearly through out because they think they're broken. (usually you just need new batteries). When you do this, you get a motor, sprocket, chain, controller, throttle, and the wiring is all done. Then I just take the guts out of it and put them on my frame, like I did with my wagon project:

thanks for the reply, it does make since but if you dont want to go that route, what sprocket you recommend as well as matching clutch sprocket, the motor is 36v 1000w? If I add a second motor to the same rear axle, what I will increase is the torque, correct? I am looking for speed.
