Could be the LNB (The actual recieving module on the dish), the reciever (your "box") or cabling in between. Does your unit indicate that it's recieving any kind of signal at all? Have you traced your cabling to make sure it's all intact?

As it turns out they said the box wasn't receiving signal. The tech. came out and programmed the remote to work.
The written instructions were useless and phone no help either.
