Noob from Tennessee

Hey everyone! I am a computer guy by trade and have spent my fair share of time on message boards. This one seems very family/friendly and chock full of very knowledgeable folks. I hope I can give something back but I am a noob when it comes to Go Karts.

I have 5 kids (Ages 1 to 13) and love the outdoors. Why do I love the outdoors? I shouldn't...I spent 20 years in the Army as a Scout and spent more than my share of time freezing my butt off in the rain/sleet/snow and baked in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Iraq! I am happily retired now and am a data center manager (Wife said I could have one of two jobs after retiring from the Army, computer guy or shoe salesman)

Thanks to everyone who goes out of their way to help others, that is what it is all about!

Welcome to the club!!!!! I occasionally pitch a tent in my backyard. ..just to sleep outside. .....we may be nuts.....but the city folk are the real losers ....

I don't know if "pitching a tent" means the same thing as it does in germany...
and I refuse to explain, due to the family friendly nature of this forum;
just let me say this:
doing that in your backyard may offend your neighbors
Wich somehow brings me to the next -uhm- general topic... "offending people"
