Hi All! Got a Christmas gift "for the kids" it's an invader yard kart frame with from what I can see is a Briggs 5.5 hp? W/ open air filter and header installed, 5" Douglas wheels and slicks. So far Installed new cent clutch w/ 12t and the rear sprocket to a 66t to "slow it down" for the kids (came with13/60). been mooching info off this site since I bought it. Thanks Everyone.

Welcome! If you want to slow it down, try a 10 tooth clutch (or a 9) . The bigger the ratio number,the slower it will be. With a 12/66 combo, they will still be scooting around at a pretty decent speed. 6:1 is typically ideal, for slow speed/more power, 7:1--8:1 is ideal....
