I bought a go cart for my son and now it won't actually go when we press the gas. It has a belt with the part number 12-10052 on it. The belt will go for a second but then gets caught up in a tight position on the clutch. The belt looks to be worn on one side. ??? Any suggestions?? I have pics but dont know how to post them. If I can find a person near Duncan Oklahoma I would be happy to bring it to show anyone. Haha.

Can you take and post pictures of the drive system, I'll bet money the buttons on the driven unit is missing or worn and most likely the driven spring has broken and/or streched.
this is common and can easily be fixed replacement parts are readily available and relatively inexpensive, but does take a slight degree of mechanical ability and brute force to get the driven put back together.
I recommend you take it to a small engine/lawn mower/ gocart shop and have it done. again its common and not an expensive fix.

or buy a new driven unit ...depending on the model the can be anywhere from $30 to $160 new

Its a Torque converter. the way it should work is when you give it gas the clutch on the engine should expand inward. the belt will get tight if you give it gas. the bigger part of the clutch should expand outward(with the belt on). do you have a video cam? a video would be a great way to see whats happening.

B man you can plainly see its missing at least one button if you look at the very top of the cam on the picture. and it looks like from the angle the pic anyway that the cam has spun and has the driven sprung open.

Not sure how to take a video but I will try. The drive part works right. The clutch part.. Well the belt moves and gets stuck in the middle and won't go then. I am trying to upload a video

So a new driven unit would correct it maybe?

Yes a new driven and a comet 30 series belt which I did check the p/n you supplied for the belt it is in fact a valid 30 series belt, just remember that belt is directional, and should come with arrows saying this side towards engine, if not the flat side of the belt goes toward the engine not the slanted side, you'll eat that belt up with a quickness if you don't pay close attention to it.
