Hey folks! Just stopping in to introduce myself. I'm quite new to karting, but I've been a hot-rodder and shade tree mechanic for 25 years or so. I'm an engineer by profession, but I wanna be a mechanic when I grow up. 
I currently have 2 karts that I'm trying to get going:
1) a Margay offset kart of about 2002 vintage that I will set up with a clone motor, and
2) an older (90's vintage) Ken-Bar DD-9 Streaker off road kart that I'm trying to rig up for the kids.
I also am finishing up my shop, working on 3 or 4 other project cars, and building the ultimate "kart" - a Locost 7 scratch-build project.
