Hello Everyone,
What a great forum for Go Kart DIY'ers! I found this forum when searching online for info on how to build a go kart. I'm looking to do a go kart build this Fall and Winter with my 12 year old niece. She is really into Engineering and building things. So far together we have built a treehouse with solar power last Summer and a whipper trebuchet this Spring. In regards to a go kart, we have decided to build an off-road 2 seater with an electric drive. I have purchased plans/drawings for the Spider Carts Grand Daddy, the Badland Buggy ST3, and I'm trying to find plans for the Ubuildit Shredder 2. It appears that Ubuildit has went of of business so I have not been able to find the Shredder 2 plans. Any help in finding the Shredder 2 plans would be appreciated. I would like to look at all of these plans, pick one, and modify it to make it fit our needs. I'm trying to find the right balance between weight, robustness, and safety. I have been reading every thread I could find on here about off-road karts and electric karts. The wealth of knowledge being shared on this forum is incredible. Thanks.
Andy
