Newbie and need advice on a build

Hello, I just registered here and would like some help. I want to build a go kart for the street that will go fast and be reliable and strong. I don't have any idea for a frame and need help with ideas for a strong and sturdy frame that can handle speed. I don't no what engine to put in but would a 6.5hp engine be ok, because i want it to be fast but not insanely scary fast? and i don't no how to build a go kart, i have never owned a go kart and have never built one. I just need advice on building a good frame and how to put everything together so it goes well. I don't plan on racing it, just driving around the street. Sorry I'm such a noob but i need advice, thanks.

I think you scared almost all of us off with your first post

you asked for a bit too much and it opens a ton of new questions for us to ask,
so it's safer to take a step back and watch

Anyways..
Okay you should not build a gokart on your own to "go fast" if that's your first go kart experience.
You simply shouldn't (it's most likely incapable of handling the speed you have in mind)

Which brings me to the main question:
What speed do you have in mind?

So the best advice I can give you at this point is:
Buy a racing (sprinter) kart frame (CL, ebay etc.), mount a 6.5 engine...

And go from there.
