new with a big engine

hi everyone,
im new to the site and have been looking around for a day or so. i recently wreck my 02 honda 919(919cc) motorcycle and i saw on that there are people putting that big of a motor on karts. i have that bike with body damage only(engine and trans in great shape) and i have another custom crusier bike that was given to me thats basically for parts. i want to make an off road kart and im starting with just those bikes. does any one have any ideas of good starter frames or if i should attempt a custom. i know i will have to mod anything but a good start would be great. also any ideas about total cost on a project like this. thanks
