New kid on the block

Hi everybody
My name is Pierre. I live in Belgium.
I'm currently building a little vw-bus mounted on a (partial) frame of a scoot-mobile.
As controller, I use the TDPRO YK31C
However, I don't understand what they mean by the break. there are 2 wires (black and yellow)
Do I need to connect - to the black and a +24V to the yellow wire by means of a contact?
Same question for the indicator light
