So a little about me I'm from Portland Oregon and I'm at the beginning stages of building a kart i was gifted a 2001 zx6r from a kawasaki ninja and that's gonna be my drive train I want my kart to resemble a R/C car just bigger I'm not rich so it's gonna take me awhile to get it going but the motor is good I've bench tested it sounds good looks good I can't wait to get to it it's gonna be a fun build thanks for letting me be part of this awesome diy group

Welcome. I hope that you are pretty skilled and mechanically inclined. And it isn't going to be inexpensive. You can define rich. Your neighbor, Master Hack, who I believe is just a little bit south of you is starting to build something very similar to what you are describing. But I'll tell you, he's loaded with dough and is about the smartest guy in the world for building stuff. You might want to pay attention to his thread.
