New guy from Middle Tennessee

Hello everyone. This is actually the first time I have ever joined a forum. Given my forum virginity, Im obviously lacking proper manners and apologize in advance. As far as karting goes, I'm also fairly new.
I have a background in auto mechanics, fabrication and welding, construction and fine woodworking. So, the basics of karting have fortunately come quite quickly for me.
I'm more so drawn to the off-road / yard kart type karts. Got our first kart a few months back for my 9 year old. It's a White Fox 11. First thing we did was put a predator 212 on it.
Actually had picked it up a month or 2 prior knowing a kart was in our near future. All in all its been great. Like most, I have the mentality that a project is never done.
Thanks for the wealth of knowledge this site has provided for me already and also for what's to come.

Thanks! I'm sure I'll be on here quite a bit trying to figure this stuff out. Quite a bit does, however, consist of "went the wife is preoccupied" time! Ha

:Welcome2: Being a forum virgin, here's a couple of tips:
- Go read the forum rules to familiarise yourself with what is & isn't acceptable; most of them are rather obvious...
- Look around the forum to see what others are doing &, more importantly, look at the recently closed threads to get an idea of what not to do
