Hello Everyone,

I don't know why I'm getting this bug now, maybe it's because it's now clear I'll never have a sports car.

Partly I'm trying to get involved with my kids doing something outside that requires some thinking.

I have an old B&S 3.5HP from a mower I pulled off last night, I know it needs significant modification to go horizontal but I'm not in a rush and it's free.

I figure make a quick learner cart, and if things go well, plan a bigger nice build.

Welcome to the Ontario group please feel free to hassle the Texans. I'd use the rear axle out of the lawnmower too get some practice fabricating then build something better after the kids get bored with it, this way you don't have to convert the engine to horizontal.

No, it's more basic than that; he's probably run out of people that are willing to catch one and tie it up for him, so all he has to do is drive up to it and get out of the truck.....

Right. I may be wrong, but I haven't seen a push mower with any type of gear box that would be suitable for any type of kart aplication...

Don't really know if I know what you are referring to. ....Here in Texas.we have two kinds of carp.....the common carp and the grass eating carp.....

You must be a racist.......I'm going to have to sic Half-breeder on you. ...but I may have to come with him. ...because neither one of us busts a buck and a half!

While the Asians have bred carp for thousands of years. developing fancy goldfish and koi......we blame the Europeans for the common carp....and IIRC..Germany in paticular. ....as the original breeding stock came from there.....BTW....I caught an 8 lb. one last week. ....just for grins....on 6 lb. test line.....

But I do eat Asian fish. .....Vietnamese catfish. ..."Basa"....or. "Swai"....cheap and delicious. ..at the local grocery. ....
