Hello Forum. This past holiday I bought my son a go kart off Craig's List. He loves it, and I have learned a lot about Go Kart maintenance in the last 6 months. I even bought him a new 6.5hp engine for his birthday next week.

The problem I am having right now is that his front left wheel hub bearing just went bye bye. It was a pressed bearing, and I cannot find anyone who can fix it. I figured that I would just replace the whole hub, as they seem pretty inexpensive, but I am not exactly sure what to buy. His current hub is a 4-bolt single flange hub and is keyless. I am thinking this is the hub I need to get, as it looks just like my son's, minus the grease fitting.

I am not sure what year/model the kart is, but I have posted some pictures of the cart and some additional pictures of the axle. I hope this help and appreciate any responses.

Thanks for the suggestion. Won't the bearings need to be professionally pressed in by someone, or do they normally just snap in?

No & no, the process is somewhere in between; you can do it yourself; use a steel or, better still, brass rod to tap the old bearings out, then carefully & evenly tap the new bearing into place, tapping the outer ring, not the inner ring of the bearing...
