So I’ve only had my go kart for about two weeks. Pretty recently the front spindle got bent so I had to park it for a few days. After I noticed I have way less power. When the spindle got bent did it mess with something? with Before I hit speeds of 39mph and now I’m lucky to hit 26. It also really struggles to spin the tires. I’m think the break is rubbing or there’s two much chain resistance. Also on a side note the kart moves now on idle I think all I need to do is adjust the throttle cable. Any help is welcome I’m only 15😭.
Btw it’s a predator hemi 212
Here’s a picture and it looks like the breaks are rubbing.
Here’s a video and I feel like it should spin a little more freely

Brakes are fine, they are not your problem. Your real problem is you are driving a kart meant for asphalt on grass and I have a feeling the clutch is failing. Make sure the throttle cable is pulling the throttle open all the way first. If that is all ok take 2 drops of engine oil and oil the bronze bushing that is behind the big washer holding the clutch on. Then take it to the pavement and try it out. If it works great! If not get a new clutch. With the centrifugal clutches they are designed to be run full throttle all the time. None of this on the gas and off the gas stuff. You need a TAV II CVT 30 series for that kind of off road driving. Good luck.

The chain also does not appear to be engaging with the sprocket completely. I see a gap around the entire circumference of the axle sprocket. The chain and sprocket may be worn out or not the same gauge.
