#1: Stephen J. Cannel... if you get to looking he was the writer/producer of some of the best TV shows ever. He did a bit part as a bad guy on 'Renegade '....and absolutely NAILED it.

#2: James Garner, one of the most underrated actors in history. People didn't understand how good he was, because it never seemed like he was "acting".

In the 'Rockford files', he did a lot of the stunt driving. Whenever you saw the car do a 180° turn in a street, that was Jim.

C'mon Robert! It was a tonque in cheek. I went on to name some of my favorite black actors. That should have made it pretty frigging obvious that the no blacks allowed was not serious.

I'm sorry if you didn't find it funny.

Truth is there is a crapload of great black actors....I could spend all day...

But...back to topic...Hollywood heroes , for blacks had to be Sidney Pointer and Sammy Davis Jr. opened the door for a whole generation of black actors. That's a hero in my books.
