Oh, I know the batteries are no good and the motor is supposedly fine. Hey, I can hear you mumbling already I barely get 5 volts out of each of the two batteries. The cardboard sign did say either the batteries or the charger were bad.I'll hold a 12 volt test to the heavy leads I guess. Don't know what the other two wires are for. Have to be for reverse. Craigs list has these things a dime a dozen here in Florida...... ( The Old Age State LOL)

You should be able to hook up the two with 5v in a series, (hook the pos of one to the neg of the other), to get 10v for testing.

What part of Florida are you in? I'm in central, between Tampa and Orlando.
