so... I've been planning out some ideas and I think the only one that would work might just be too crazy to try. (my math skills suck balls) this is for a specialized vehicle that I'm building for log/woods work.
Engine: 80s Briggs 10hp w/o 12v magneto. (306cc displacement)
What my idea is it take a starter/generator and pop a 12t sprocket on it so it can run off the chain that's pulling the gearbox (modified ts250 trans) and also so it can start the motor. i'm also gonna be running LED lights, hazards, and a 1500lb winch at times. though what the setup is is a jackshaft that has a 40 series t.c. on it. I was alos thinking about somehow making a secondary jackshaft system so I can run a PTO to run a hydraulic pump. The PTO won't run all the time but the lights, generator, and transmission will all be turning. Now I just gotta figure out what size sprockets I need for the best results.
