Alright, maybe someone on here could point me to the direction. I already asked on the SV forums. and while I did get somewhat of a hit.. the website has a 20 dollar minimum. and the guy is located in japan. so shipping is a little crazy, and EVEN buying both the part and plug from him, still is only like 7 dollars.. I can get the part. I just need the plug!

its the female adapter that plugs into the top of the Starter Solenoid Relay, it got cooked up when "it" failed or the solenoid failed.

http://easternbeaver.com/Main/Elec__Products/Connectors/Sealed/RFW/rfw.html

and I'm pretty sure the plug is the; 4 Position .090 Waterproof Connector Female Half.

and here's the part I ordered.

http://www.amazon.com/Starter-Solenoid-Suzuki-SV650S-2003-2008/dp/B007489N5Y

if you need a picture of my existing plug It will be below.

TKP makes a similar connector..
part # HCAR090S3R-04

maybe it's easier to trace that one down.

Or, just buy female 090 terminals and renew them on your plug, the plug itself looks to be okay from the pictures, doesn't it?

The plastic that two of the 4 clips slide into and hold onto, are melted, and aren't even holding them. and they where bumping into each other, that had something to do with my lights flickering, and eventually my starter motor not wanting to stop turning over, even with the kill switch off, and the key in the OFF position.. only when the battery was disconnected [fun!]

would you know where I could buy one as posted, looks very similar to the one that's on the bike. as long as the plugs match up into the relay, any extra plastic that might be in the way, I can just shave off.

edit: I found this.. http://www.cycleterminal.com/furukawa-090.html ; is the 4 Pin Female Connector the same one as posted you think?

edit2: unless your source is cheaper. ^ from that link I'm looking at 10 dollars for a plug...[shipping included] 0_o
