motor found outside!!!!

i just found a motor near our barn and i dont know how to make an eletric scooter out out of it i need help . how do i hook it up to a battery??

Jj, Usually there's two wires coming out of a motor or there are two terminals somewhere on it. It would need to have a battery attach to those two terminals by way of some sort of switch or voltage controller. Are there any wires on it? Pics would help.
