Minibike Electric start question

I recently bought a 212cc engine from princess auto(in Canada) that has electric start. The manual calls for a 12v 18amh battery. I was looking online for batteries and it's seems like the 18amh are more expensive than the 9amh. I'm wandering if anyone has used a 9amh on a minibike and if it would actually work for me? I also want to get a small battery so it can fit on my mini bike(there's not a ton of room).

Also the engine has a charging coil on it that puts out 1.5 amh, will that be able to charge my battery while running or should I try to get another coil from Amazon for it?

I know people on these forums like pictures but wasn't sure what kind of pictures you would need. Let me know if you need any.
Thanks!

Go with the recommended size battery. You don’t want the starter to melt down. Yes, it should keep the battery topped off from starting. If you are going to run lights you may want to see if a bigger charging sys is available. Or use small led lights.
