Hi all,

I'm new to this. I got this kit for free from a guy when I was taking my small engine repair course as a project. But I was so mechanically clueless at the time that I didn't want to try. I went to the trouble today and this is what I got out of a box of parts. However it's missing the pull starter assembly and the chain. The problem is there are no brand markings anywhere so I have no idea where to start.

Does anyone know where I can look or am I pooched?

You're pooched, you can get parts, but the clutch is incomplete, and looks like it's nowhere near lining up with the rear wheel.

But parts are rediavailable, and pretty cheap.

Dang I was afraid of that. I might have put new mounts and find another little motor for it. Might be easier.

It kinda looks like a razor or a scooterX- Xracer.... One of them Chinese scoots..

There is a few things out there that might fit... off hand I cant say... but do some searching....look for fitment dimensions... and measure yours... itll be in metric.

It looks like itll just need the pullstart assembly and a chain.... it has a gear reduction box, with the clutch inside already...

Now how do I go about finding the chain size? I'm going to try starting this engine with my drill tomorrow but it would be nice to have a drive chain. What size and where in Canada can I order one?

You'll have to look up and measure the chain size on the sprocket... I reckon it'll be #25 as that is typically the size for these engines... However double check...

Amazon.ca typically is you best bet... Might even find the pull start mech for it aswell.
