Hey guys! So yesterday the fam drove up to Mammoth and what an adventure it was. Short story short, if you plan on going to Mammoth in the summer and especially August, plan at least 2 months ahead. Anyways, it was an awesome adventure and there is so much there! The lakes are beautiful and the redwood pines and other trees make it feel much different then southern Cali desert. It was the first place I've seen in California that looks like real camping. You can rent a lodge by the lake and rent a boat and go ride around and look at the tons of wildlife. There is so much wild life and they aren't scared of you. It's common to see bears! At the place were we were staying, people were feeding and petting a wild family of deer! Hopefully this will give you an idea of taking a trip there some time because I highly recommend it as it's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been!
